this show was MADE for kids like me!

its a new kids show on NICK...yo gabba gabba (crazy title...awesome show) ya i know its not like baby einsteiny genius stuff, but weve got enough of that goin on at my house anyway. this is like THE most awesome kids show EVER! where else can you see biz markie's beat of the day?!?! it teaches stuff to kids like "eat your veggies" and "everyone needs a nap" stuff that my kids just dont get...they can count to 10 in 5 languages but try to explain to them why its not a good idea to eat playdoh and the concept just gets lost :) its based on these peoples actual parenting experience...theres an episode coming up called "dont bite your friends". apparently, one of the parents doing the show had a biter :) great stuff! heres the most popular song to date...theres a PARTY in my tummy....and i just have to ask the question.....wheres the "after party" at?!?! haha

so this past weekend was CKC..something we look forward to every year. well this year was a HUGE disappointment! vendor faire sucked and the classes were alot to be desired for...we decided next year we arent gonna do the classes and stuff were just gonna go for the day. got to meet lisa though...that was pretty cool! she was really nice in person...thats cammeron me lisa and my pal lori in the pic :) also one of the very few pages i got done this weekend! i dont know what makes me think i can actually scrapbook when i go to this thing! but i bring a ton of stuff like im actually gonna get anything done! im so exhausted by the end of the day i dont even want to LOOK at paper (ok that might be taking it a bit far! haha) got to meet a fellow SISta....deanna aka prairiewillow---LOVED HER she was super sweet and super fun!! also lori took us on like the best date ever! who knew my best date story would be with a woman!haha she took us to the river walk and to the marble slab for ice cream (if you can even call it that) it was more like heaven in a cup! haha there was a live free concert going on there too so it was almost like we stumbled into dream fantasy day! haha so thanks for the best date ever LORI :)

my baby boy....and his first day of school! he did REALLY well (i was the one that was a total mess!) his teacher was super nice and i think were gonna like her alot:) hes so excited to back again today

3 days and counting...

my baby boy starts kindergarten in 3 days. on one hand im relieved that ill be getting a break (sorta) and only have phoebe during the day...oh the things i can do! ya right
and on the other hand its the begining of his life away from me :( sounds pretty co-dependant huh? i had my very first "first day of school" nightmare last nite. in my dream i lost sight of him bc i was too busy messing with a camera and i got lost. ya the dream was SOOOO not about him :) i started to panic that he wouldnt have any pictures of his first day (like the 300 i took at the house werent enough!) thats kinda when reality set in...hes leaving and growing up. i had my little cry session at around 5am. i know hell be ok and hell make friends and everything will be fine. hes so darn excited about it weve had this countdown going on since MAY :)

i wonder if theres a support group for over-protective mommies?!?! haha

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

my grandpa didnt think hed make it to see their 55th anniversary. well here he is..healthy as a horse! you guys are my sanity and i love you more than anything...have a great day :)
