stranger than fiction

 

ok so i finally got around to watching this movie. but the main reason why is kinda weird. ive had SEVERAL people (like more than 5) tell me that i need to watch it cuz im EXACTLY like the bakery girl. so i watched it and to my surprise, i can actually see why people said that. there are quite a few personality similarities :) anyway i just had to see what the fuss was all about. and its a great movie---but i think her book wouldve ended better if she wouldve killed him.

our visit to cow town

while we were in kansas we stopped at this museum. they had set up this little prairie town and you could walk thru it. they had everything!! undertakers, dentists, churches and schools and jails. they even had a wild west shoot out in the middle of town! everyone was dressed in period dress and we even went to the saloon to have some sasparilla :) i know its totally geeky but i just LOVED it

had a great weekend with the fam....but definately in a BLAH mood. got up early this morning and this song was playing and it really fit my mood. happy memorial day everyone...hug a soldier today :)

what ive been up to

 

my first attempt at a diaper cake....it looks much better all wrapped up in tulle with a bow on top! :)

brought the littles lunch from MCD's---trying to be super cool mom ---phoebe didnt eat at all

 

more relay races....dude i was totally WIPED out from yesterday! and we get to do it all over again today :)

 

overwhelmed

pretty much describes what ive got going on now. end of school is crazy busy and with work and everything else going on im barely keepin my head above water.
my bff baby shower is next weekend...gotta make her a baby book (like ive made the other 2) AND a diaper cake...cross your fingers on that one.
im supposed to be doing snacks at school again this week--and i cant just do NORMAL stuff (over achiever) so thurs ill be up turning ziplock bags into fruit butterflies :)
and end of school goodies for the teachers and "super cool fun day" and small vacay comin up....i guess i just needed a place to whine today! brad always says i take too much on ---hes right i do it to myself...but like i cant just give my bff a gc!! anyway heres to hoping i survive graduation season at the barkery and make it thru the end of spring :)

these are some fly ass shoes! i was totally bummed that i missed out on the NSD goodnes (had to work ALOT this weekend!) but found these and decided to dream a little...very cool but theyre like $300! just SLIGHTLY out of my bargain basement price range :) also gonna update hopefully tomorrow on some majorness...its good majorness so dont worry :) haha

OHHHHH and my awesome son got picked for star student of the week and got his pic in the paper today! so im gonna go and buy like 40 copies to pass out to EVERYONE i know :)
