ya so last thursday one of my worst fears came to life...someone ran into my car! ya i know not the worst thing to happen but that car is my baby!! anyway i didnt think it looked like much but took it for an est anyway...$1000!! i still have to get at least 2 more for the guy to look at. sigh--its gonna be a week!

and heres my take on the scrap your crap challenge...this one was use holiday paper on a NON holiday layout. cupids candy shop from SEI (of course!) used a rainbow and cloud from a hello kitty book phoebe got for christmas! how rad is that?!

brad turned me on to this...cute little animals with funny captions. simple i know but it works to get me giggling :) they dont spell anything right or use correct grammer BUT its like if you say it in your head like little baby talk it makes sense! haha

and this is why (again with the bad pics!!) sorry my light in the kitchen is really yellow (gag) but i saw these beauties and couldnt LEAVE without them...so thanks goes out to the nice lady that found out how much they were and sold them to me even though she wasnt supposed to! they are just BEAUTIFUL!!

another project

 

im usually not so hip into making projects for no reason but this one just caught my eye. its from a fairly new blog...called project create inspirations (i think) but i thought it was a cool way to use stuff i already had and do something neat with it. i had planned on making 3 or 4 of these for teachers gifts for vday but had to work more than i had planned so that didnt happen. although this isnt the best pic i thought it was super cute how it turned out!

 

so i found this new blog called SCRAP YOUR CRAP. its really pretty new. its not reinventing the wheel or anything BUT i really really like the concept. QUIT BUYING!!!! use what you have!! thats something ive been trying to do anyway. lets face it most of us have enough stickers and paper etc to last 2 yrs without buying another single thing. this challenge was to use 10 stickers (and letters dont count) on your page. i didnt quite commit to the whole sticker sneeze thing but i tried i think i got like 7. BUT i didnt buy anything NEW for this page...i forced myself to use the supplies i had already bought. now if i can just keep this thought process going.. haha in case youre interested the link is on my side bar.

on second thought....

there was a post here...a post totally calling someone out. but im more mature than that. so i deleted it :)

i really have been doing a whole lot of nothing lately .... i know im shocked! haha j/k :) im a lazy bum and we all know it! actually im working on this cute little valentine project for some of mareks teachers (i know its my most HATED holiday of the whole year but im not gonna be a drag to EVERYONE!) ill post some pix when i get it done (if that ever happens) anyway i was killing time today and decided to browse for phoebe a dress for easter. i have yet to put this child in a pink dress. weve had blue and green and yellow and white but not pink. so i was thinking about biting the bullet and doing the pink nautical dress---whatcha think?
