friday lol

 

its been awhile---but ive been crazy busy with work....and theres been drama there too...and that can totally wear a person out! ive actually experienced this lol many times and can totally relate
enjoy the weekend!

warm fuzzies

so i made a birthday cake for an 80yr old lady this weekend--nothing too special or intricate or anything. but the look on her friends face when she came to pick it up was just priceless...she said i captured her to a T--and she couldnt wait for her to see it and she wanted to bring her by so i could actually meet her. that really made me feel really good. so if i never get to meet miss maggie who turned 80---i just want to say i enjoyed being part of your special day!

this is the first job i think ive ever had that i really ENJOY. and im pretty good at it (i think!) haha maybe ill make the world a better place with frosting and fondant :)

phoebe's first day

 

 

this week has really been rough on all of us. so looking at these pix reminds me that it WILL get better. this was phoebes first day at her montessori school. she LOVES it there--except now she screams and cries everytime i take her. makes me doubt if im doing the right thing. ive also had to adjust MY sched from working at nite to a full time day job. i really like it but i hope its worth it in the end.

my kids are anime freaks

...just like their mom used to be :) so we all layed down and watched this movie last nite (in english of course) dakota fanning actually dubbed a character! i thought that was cool...anywho its about 2 little girls that move to the country and their house is haunted by soot sprites ...and they encounter wood spirits and of course TOTORO---the big furry bunny looking guy--its a really cute show and the kids go totally NUTS for it.heres the japanese trailor....
