its party time!

i am such a bad blogger :) its been a week since his party and im just NOW getting to post some pics. the first one is the GIGANTIC transformer i made. yep its cardboard and styrofoam and yep i am crazy for attempting to do that!! haha the next one is of his cake---which im kinda miffed that the stupid thing cracked but whatcha gonna do?! then its marek sporting his rad "im 6!" shirt ...and every party has its pooper---and phoebe was ours!

 

 

 

 

i totally get it!

i know i watch some "interesting" stuff on tv...but this i caught on accident and totally think it ROCKS....think a more desperate version of American Beauty. it just truthfully shows you dont know how youd react to a situation until youre smack dab in the middle of it. heres the trailor...

i didnt really want to spoil the whole plot thing in case some of yall wanted to watch it but it looks like "i got some splainin' to do" haha! ok the guy in the tighty whiteys is a high school chemistry teacher. he just turned 50 and is kinda in full swing of the whole midlife crisis thing. he has a teenage son who is disabled and his wife is prego with kid #2...oh and hes been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and not given long to live. so hes decided that in order to make as much money as possible so his family doesnt have to worry about finances when hes gone hes joined up with one of his exstudents to make crystal meth. the reason he doesnt have any pants on in the trailor is bc he hangs up his "good clothes" on the outside of their mobile lab so he doesnt go home smelling like a meth lab. ok now back to your regularly sched prg :)

one of my passions

ok so those of you that know me know that i have a special spot in my heart for great house music. and anthems from the days of yore (or from 10yrs ago! haha) i love listening to radio one---stream it in when ive got a major project goin and it totally focuses me :) anyway theyve got this new mix by UNDERWORLD (yep those guys) and its heartbreakingly good. so take some time and have a listen!

i heard this song right around christmas and it really hit home for me. i found out kid rock sang it and was like HUH?!?! but it really is a song with a msg and it really just speaks to me...
