...when i heard that these guys (barenaked ladies) were breaking up....yep they sure as heck are....they were such a part of my college experience...one of my fondest memories was coming into the dorm at ohhh maybe 3-4am (but who really knows right?) from doing any list of things with my friends at the time (ahhh those were the days...) and coming in to the 2 resident girlies strumming their guitars singing the "if i had a million dollars" song. it was just the perfect way to end that nite. you know they were together for 20yrs?!?!? oh well i guess all things have a beginning and an end....but there will always be a special spot for them in my college soul :)

metro boy?

lately, marek has taken an interest in putting make-up on phoebe...ya hes 7 and thats all cute and everything...but he said today that "he LOVES putting make-up on girls" i then of course asked..."oh ya? how many girls are you putting make-up on?" he said "only phoebe...none of the others will let me come over to their houses" haha....im not really THAT worried----more concerned that hell get better on putting on make-up than i am! :) i always said i had the first metro-sexual 4yr old...who is now 7... just as long as he doesnt go all "emo" with the black eyeliner crap ill be good (cant stand guys that do that and work at the mall GAG! you have NOTHING to be sad about...except that you work at the mall!) anyway if he gets any of that i guess its from me..we all know that i have a disco fetish...last nite we had a dance party in our living room with some PROPER sounds...and we got down with our funky selves :) wish i had thought to build a mini runway so we could all do our best "rupaul"....hmmm maybe next time haha

late nite thoughts...

this among a TON of others :) hehe enjoy the friday lolz...havent done those in awhile. today was complete madness...between work and doing 2 school vday parties and everything else ive got goin on ...im mentally and physically exhausted. im so so glad things are hopefully gonna start slowing down a bit. im very excited about next month though bc summer enrollment starts! eek! im so excited..i cant wait to get on with it! but first i have to deal with vday tomorrow---ack! oh well its only a 24 hr period...i think ive handeled worse things :)

*sigh* memories....

the absolute most awesome movie...not just because eddie vedder is in it....it helps but thats not why...its just a great movie---about love and fate...and coincedence and life...the greats and the not so greats...and its got a KILLER soundtrack! :) plus its close to v day and i thought singles was a good movie to give homage to!

a day in the life

of me...i took my camera to work with me last fri just to document some of the stuff i do on a daily basis. and it was fun freakin everyone out at 6am walkin around with a camera! haha

so when i got paid the other day i cashed my check and was organizing my bills when i discovered THIS on one! i know its not like there arent other people named wendy in the world but i just thought it was REALLY cool that i ended up with it :) ive also decided not to spend it :) you know i just have this feeling like it was meant for me haha!
