pretty proud of myself!

so i wrote and turned in my 2 papers for my lit class this weekend. it was ALOT harder than i remember...i used to be able to pull papers out of thin air 30 min b4 they were due and ace them. but i wanted to make sure i did a good job this time around ESPECIALLY since i havent written a paper in like ohhh a DECADE!!! :)

i thought i prb racked up a C at best...figured it could just be a learning experience and figure out what she was looking for etc.

got my grades back today....i got a 95 on my first paper and a effn 100 on the second!!!!!!
talk about boosting my ego...i guess im not a dummy after all :) jk

oh and another lesson ive learned...if some random guy comes up and asks you where the bathroom is..and you tell him..and thats the END OF THE CONVERSATION!! BEWARE!!! he can misconstrue the entire situation to his friend and THATS HOW RUMORS GET STARTED...so in short i will no longer be nice and tell strangers where things are at :)

and the winner is...

i picked this one...it got chasie's approval :) now lets just hope my ass isnt too big for it! haha....my first day of school was monday--took me 2+hrs to log in..had to ask brad for help (which i hated doing) but thats something im working on...asking for help when needed. i just wanna give a HUGE shout out to my close circle of friends. for being supportive and just what friends should be :) and i really mean it when i say "thanks..i needed that!"

anyway i already have 2 papers due --- so much for my summer vacay :( the end result will be SOOOOOO worth it though!
oh and i SWEAR if i have to make another graduation cake im gonna SCREAM!!! (and yes i KNOW how to spell congratulations..and the shortened version CONGRATS!---apparently some people think i need help with that haha )

oh and diane...im lookin for a family guy clip for ya...its just gonna take a minute :)

phoebe's program

her program was last week. she walked across the stage and waved to all of us like she was miss america :) sometimes i think her personality is bigger than she is.

dress shopping

ok so im in chasie's wedding this summer. woo-hoo! shes such a cool chick. anyway, im supposed to find a fun dress to wear. colorful (ya i do that so well right...my closet is a choice of shades of black) ANYWAY i found these on forever 21. i KNOW the last 2 are black BUT they are really cute and i could punch up the color in the shoes or something right?!
im diggin the 1st one too...that color is just kickass! hmmm got about another 6 wks to figure it out for sure though...and did i mention im doin the cake ACK!!! :)

its graduation season...nuff said....

so i got my award letters yesterday...and im happy to say that i dont have to pay anything for college this summer :) fall is a little different...gotta cough up around $600...but thats not bad AT ALL considering im taking 16 hrs. its all worth it.

on another note i went to a funeral yesterday...my 2nd cousins husband. he was only 41 and had a 3 month old baby. it was really sudden and sad. but while i was sitting there listening to all the random things they were saying about this guy...i thought "what the heck would they say about me?" kinda freaky... i also was attacked by a small baby that was very unhappy about being contained in a small room for an extended period of time.

i didnt even cry at this thing...im a robot apparently cuz there wasnt a dry eye in the house...

mothers day

ive always wanted something like this...with the kids names...something different and personal but not frilly and "walmarty". (no offense just not my style) i just liked how this one was different...kinda like me :) haha

'when you have nothing nice to say...sit by me?!" no thats not it haha...its "dont say anything right?" well i guess thats prb why my blog has been a bit quiet lately. i hate getting on here to air my grievances...i also hate painting this beyond happy picture that doesnt exist. thats just annoying :) so heres a rundown of stuff thats been goin on

*marek lost his first tooth last week...lost it while brushing his teeth...then proceeded to spit in the sink...down the drain it went :(
*dealing with financial aid stuff for school...thats always FUN
*phoebe's spring prg is next week...they are putting miss diva center stage--i already have heart palpatations!
*been taking the kids to school in the mornings now...which is actually nice..i get to make waffles and pancakes and muffins for breakfasts!
*i was going to have my garage sale this weekend...now its next weekend...but NOW its held off until????
*boy scouts is coming to an end (thank goodness to the higher power above!) i feel bad bc they need leaders so badly but my answer is STLL NO! :)
*mother's day is coming....ya thatll be fun...no really it will...seriously...ok itll suck like always
*i went out with my gal-pal di for long john silvers the other day...the food sucked the company was AWESOME! :) loved getting nothing accomplished with her
*ohhh i almost forget the most important thing IVE GOT TICKETS TO SEE THE LION KING!!!!!
yep just me and the 2 offspring...i CANNOT wait!!!!!!!
*im learning sometimes you just have to ask for help...even when youre incredibly stubborn like me...and thats ok (well im getting more ok with it than i have been anyway)
*distance doesnt matter when you are truly connected (hi jen!) we are closer than ever and still as far apart as always
