WTF?!?!?!? nothing is sacred anymore....i guess "THEY" have decided to give rainbow brite a makeover...make her and her friends taller and skinnier and IMO SLUTTIER!!! you know i get that things need a refresher every now and again...but COME ON!!! as a mother of a little girl im just appalled at the images i see pushed onto her visually every day. dora used to be a great program..for some crazy reason they decided to make her a teenager and make her like boys and crap. GAH....brad said something the other day that just annoyed me to death...(SHOCKER i know) he said phoebe had several little boyfriends at school and he would like her to pick just one instead of having so many. for starters SHES ONLY FOUR!!! "boyfriends" shouldnt even be a word that she thinks about...they are just friends that are boys...this is a prb with our society...sexualizing our children at a extremely young age....and we wonder why they have warped views on relationships and body image and sex. marek told me he had a girlfriend the other day...i told him he could do much better than that. hes only in second grade. dont get me wrong....i remember being boy crazy when i was little...maybe if i had focused more on myself and what i wanted and my career i wouldnt have to work so hard today. they should be thinking about what color to paint their suncatchers...not worried about how to snag a guy or land a girlfriend....ok i think im done ranting for the day :)

ok so ya its been awhile...to say the least....ive been completely swamped with daily life and just havent made blogging a priority...got bigger fish to fry on the daily:) so anywho...the pix above are what the kids what to be for halloween. phoebe wants to be princess peach-unfortunately they do NOT make a costume for young girls that dont want to be slutty. so i got a barbie princess dress and am attempting to make it look like this-sorta. hey people dont hold your breath im not a miracle worker :) itll be pink and fruffy thats all i got lol. had to actually purchase mareks costume this year...sad sad sad....just dont have the time to donate to hand making both this year. oh well ive got to do what i got to do :)

on a lighter note...got the halloween party organized for mareks class...think im gonna miss it though bc of work. made a 100 on my business ethics paper. ya i rocked it. got a cable for my camera (thank you KAREN) now i can upload all kinds of pix of the kids and our adventures just like i used to.

the last few months have been the craziest worst best most awesome months i think. i was accused of grand theft auto and witchcraft in the same week. (by two different people...lets just get that straight lol) kids have been pretty awesome with a few bumps in the road along the way....which is to be expected.

i hope to be able to blog a bit more ill keep ya posted on that though lol
